Admission & Entrance Exam Information 2021/2022

ADMISSIONS

  All pupils who apply will undertake an entrance exam in the following subjects:​

  • English (reading & writing)​

  • Mathematics​

  • Islamic Studies (written)​

​    Successful pupils will need to attend an interview

 ENTRANCE EXAM DATES 2021/2022

  • Entrance Exam Dates ​

  • Saturday, 11th December 2021 – December Entrance Exam ​

  • Saturday , 22nd January 2022 – January Entrance Exam ​

  • If there is an oversubscription of eligible applicants, places will be allocated according to the following criteria:​

  • The school will give preference to applicants who have a sister already at AAGS/AAPS at the time of entry and/or a parent employed at AAGS/AAPS.​

  • The school will give preference to pupils who have gained the highest marks in their entrance examinations.​

  • The school will give preference to applicants from Muslim primary schools.​

  • Distance will  be considered.​

  • Registration fee of £500 to be paid on 17th  January 2022 in order to secure a space for September 2022 and for January exam registration to be paid on  8th March 2022​

APPLICATION FORMS

  • Applications can be completed online from our website: www.aags.org.uk​

  • A fee of £30 for the entrance examinations should be paid on the day of the entrance examination. ​

  • It is the responsibility of the pupil’s parents/guardians to ensure that the school has the relevant admission documentation before the deadline for application has passed. ​

  • Closing date for applications for entrance exam in December  is Friday, 10th December 2021. ​

  • Closing date for applications for entrance exam in January  is Friday, 28th January  2022. ​
